FAQs

Before you book

The things couples and organisers ask most. If yours isn't here, just ask.

Weddings

Do you bring your own piano?

Yes. I bring a PAT-tested digital piano that sounds and looks the part, or I'll play your venue's piano if it's in good condition.

Can you play a specific song?

Almost certainly. Requests are arranged as standard. Send me the song and I'll let you know if there's anything I can't do.

What happens if the ceremony runs late?

I build flexibility into the day. If timings move, I keep playing and adjust the set.

Events

What do you need from the venue?

A standard plug socket and about two metres of floor space. I bring a PAT-tested digital piano with its own amplification, so there is nothing for the venue to provide unless you would like me to play a house piano.

Can you play for several hours?

Yes. Most event bookings are two to four hours with short breaks that I fit around your running order, so the music never stops at an awkward moment.

Can you take requests on the night?

Happily. Tell me the mood you want beforehand and I'll build the set around it, then take requests from your guests as the evening goes on.

General

How far do you travel?

I'm based in Newcastle and play across the North East: Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, County Durham and Teesside. Travel within the region is included in your quote.

Are you insured?

Yes, I hold public liability insurance and can send the certificate to your venue on request.

Something I haven't covered?

Ask away. I reply to every enquiry within 24 hours.
